Chain Tale is a game, or so, via Instant Messenger.
Taking part is easy:
1. Open your Instant Messaging program;
2. Add chaintaleaim or chaintalemsn@hotmail.com to your respective IM contact list;
3. Begin a conversation with the buddy you just added and follow its instructions.
What happens is simple: you are asked to write the follow up of a story. The thing is, you are not shown the whole story, but just the last added sentence. So in most cases, writing something consistent with the ongoing plot is almost impossible.
Which makes it fun, once you combine all the sentences of the story, which is shown at the end of the day on the ChainTale website (currently www.lascrittoria.com/chaintale).
Once you are done adding your own sentence, the program asks you to introduce one of your contacts to the game. This is how the game goes on.
This is a game, but also an experiment, thus sometimes it does not work.

Please notice: the project is still a working beta, and for the moment it only works for aim contacts. Msn will come soon! Also, due to the testing, sometimes you might find chaintaleaim offline... just come back in a while and it'll work!
